Biography
Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick Monique started acting at a very young age. Her debut performance was as Trixie the clown in her grade 5 school production, after which there was no stopping her. She continued on, even earning two district and a provincial Best Supporting Actress awards.
After high school, she took a break from the stage and screen to earn her BBA at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. Transferred out to Toronto on her own, Monique found herself drawn back to acting more than ever. She couldn't resist that hankering for something more. That something more turned out to be finding guidance at some of the top acting schools in Toronto such as: Armstrong Acting Studios, Sears and Switzer and the famed Second City Training Centre. Now that something more has grown into a leap into the realm of life as a professional actor!
Monique's goal has never been a particular role or type of role, but rather to create characters that hit home with the audience and leave them with a little something to think about. A philosophy that will no doubt come into play while creating a web series in the near future. What else is in the near future? Los Angeles and New York are only a flight away!
